Re: September Thread
Tiffany - I'm glad you are here - I love your picture (it is nice to see a bigger pic of your DD)
Jennifer - you are definantly in my prayers along with the others in our group. My doctor told me to not worry about things I can't control and keep my blood pressure down (I know it is easier said than done). But I see this sign at a church on my way to work every morning "Worry Ends Where Faith Begins - Trust in Jesus" - I am trying to focus on that.

Eastons Carepage: BabyShafer
PS Amy- When I first came to this new set up, it was so different from what I was use to I was not sure if I would like it. But I love it! I am getting more and more use to it and already like it much more! Thank you so much!

Re: September Thread
OK, we'll see if I can figure this out!
Do I have to put in a subject when I'm replying to a post?
Jennifer - I am sorry you keep getting scary news. I really hope everything is totally fine at your 30 wk appt.
Amy - how did you set this up? Maybe I can convince the girls on my other thread to move to something like this.

[b]JENNIFER - (((HUGS))) Please know that tons of thoughts and prayers are being sent your way! Soren is watching over little Easton. I have really strong instincts that Easton is going to be fine!
KATHY - Thanks for the siggie instructions. It worked!
AMY - Thanks again for setting this up. ITA that these boards are better than bbc!
JILL & TIFFANY - Glad you made it over here!
AFM - I had my u/s yesterday and this baby is doing fine. I feel relieved to be past the loss point, but still nervous. Since I'm being induced at 37 weeks, I've only got 12 weeks to go! I really can't wrap my brain around it yet, and of course, my self defense mechanism won't let my brain go there fully yet. TS Hannah is supposed to be here late this afternoon, so I'm off to get some groceries and preparing to hunker down with dh tonight!

Jill - I'm so glad you are here.
Jennifer - I love your carepage - I just watched the video and bawled through the Josh Groban song. Seeing you all there to say good bye broke my heart and reminded me of us in the hospital with Jake (but it was after he died - we didn't get to say goodbye). Actually I'm still crying - I love what you have done. Did you put the picture to music yourself. How did you put the pictures to the music?
Allison - Congratulations on your wonderful u/s yesterday. I'm so glad your lo is doing well.
AFM - My sister and I actually registered today. I'm exhausted. And we aren't even done. I just can't decide on the travel system and am not sure about a pack n play. I have to go - my parents are here to pick up my dog. I'll explain later.

Re: September Thread
Here is my Bailey (our darling dog) story - We have had him for 7 years and my DH thinks he is allergic to him. So we are having the carpets and ducts cleanned tomorrow and sending Bailey to live with my parents for several months. I want DH to feel better but my mom and I are both allergic to dogs and Bailey doesn't bother us at all. Oh well - I miss him already. I'm on my own this weekend DH and DS went to Livingston to visit his mom. So I am lonely - I hope Kate starts kicking me soon.
I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend.
Amy - I do like it here. You did set up a great site.
Jill - I don't think you have to put a subject -- I've been leaving it blank.

Re: September Thread
Kathy-I used a program that was on our computer called windows movie maker. It was pretty easy once I played around with it and figured it out. It took me a couple of weeks to make it because I kept changing my mind on how I wanted it. I don't think I would ever think it is perfect enough for him, so I just decided that is was good enough and I stopped making myself crazy trying to perfect it. I am so glad you watched it. It helps me feel like I am keeping his memory alive.
So sorry about your dog. I know I was told by an allergist that your body gets use to whatever it is exposed to so you adapt if it is something you are always in contact with. I know I am allergic to cats and my best friend in JR/High school had 5 cats and I eventually (after 2 years of being miserable) had less and less problems around HER cats. All others still make me miserable.
That stinks that you are all alone. I hate it also! I am alone all day now for the first time in 5 years and I hate it. My kids are all gone for the night (Jocelyn is at a sleep over and Allison and Brayden went to My moms for the night) so DH and I are going to target to start the baby registry. I am so excited.

Jennifer - thank for referring me to the windows movie maker - I just added it as a favorite so I can read about it more when I feel like thinking. Right now my house is too loud to think. The carpet and duct cleaners are finally here (our window was from 12-3) and they got here at 6.
Allison - thanks for your kind words about my boys. That picture was taken on Good Friday - when Jake was 5 months and Luke had just turned 4. The photographer was taking some shots of Jake in the chair when Luke decided to hope in too. I love that picture.
HI to Amy, Jess, Jill, Beth and Tiffany - Hope you all had a great weeknd.

Quincy - I'm glad your appt went so well - great job on the sugars and weight gain. I am going for my GD test next week.
AFM - I did a bad thing this weekend - my dh was out of town and the carpet cleaners were coming. There were a few pieces of furniture I thought I could just push into the kitchen without any problem. But I must have pulled something because it has been hurting to walk since I moved the sofa table. I think it is just a round ligament or something and it is only on my left side. So I am walking very slow today. But I've learned my lesson and won't do that again.

Quincy - I'm not sure if I've said this already or not but I love the name Camden!
Allison - Boy does that sound close to say you are 12 weeks away from delivery! I think I am probably about 13 weeks away because I delievered around 38 weeks last time and I am 25 now.
How fun that some of you have registered already. I remember being so overwhelmed when I registered for my daughter. Just the sheer number of choices available for things like diapers was confusing to me. I ended up calling my mom half in a panic from the diaper aisle! haha
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I went to the babyshower for my friend I told you all about. She turned 36 weeks yesterday and is still preggo! She has been dilated to 4 since last wednesday though. She's on complete bedrest trying to hang on for as many more days as possible.
Did I tell you guys about my grandma? I can't remember if it was this group or the other one I told about her. Anyway, my grandma is one of the most amazing people I know. She is classy and not only intelligent but also well educated (which is rare for a women of her generation). She is loving and I have no doubt that if I were to shave my head and dye my scalp purple she would look at me and tell me how beautiful I am, and mean it from the bottom of her heart. She was diagnosed with leukemia 15 years ago. The doc told her that she had 5-10 years max to live and she smiled at him and said, "you don't know me very well, do you?" Then she and my grandpa went to Las Vegas and rode all of the roller coasters. She said she wasn't going to let the cancer get her down but that she nearly gave herself a heart attack instead! Well, she just found a week ago that she has pancreatic cancer which is one of the deadliest forms of cancer. She is going to have surgery tomorrow morning (tues) and has to start aggressive chemo right away. My grandpa said they are still in shock right now. She said, "Well, Patrick Swayze is doing just fine." I am so sad that she now has to deal with this as well as the leukemia. Horrible things always happen to such great people... Please keep her in your prayers tomorrow morning. She is going to be in intensive care for 3 days after surgery and then in the hospital for another 2 weeks.
